Activities

Keeping residents active and happy

We want our residents to stay as active and social as they can be during their stay with us. We know having a social and active lifestyle leads to overall well-being. We also encourage families to come and attend our special events with their loved ones. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!

Let’s Get Moving!

A positive and uplifting atmosphere can set the tone for a resident’s stay. Red Grove Post Acute employs outgoing and friendly professional staff to create social programs and activities. They often specialize our activities to match the capabilities and needs of each resident. This also has a powerful impact on the healing process.

Each resident is given a calendar to keep them informed of upcoming events such as birthday parties, movies, musical programs, outings, and other special events. Friends and families are always welcome to visit and attend special events.

Specialty Programs

Here at Redwood Grove Post Acute, our goal is to improve the quality of life for our seniors. Our gardening program brings the garden indoors. Our seniors are provided a sensory experience that promotes peace and healing as they plant colorful and fragrant plants and herbs. Residents are provided gardening education sessions to learn how to plant and care for their garden.

We offer Obie, a highly advanced interactive gaming console that projects custom-made games onto any surface. Our residents are encouraged to actively play through touching, and moving while increasing hand-eye coordination skills on the displayed images.
